Raiders learn about welding

KIMBOLTON -- The Flat Ridge Raiders 4-H Club met April 16 at the Kimbolton Fire House with Esmerelde Sturgill in charge of the meeting.

Club members talked about old and new business.

Demonstrations were given by: Maddison on the loom, Chelsey Starr on knot tying, Kylee Tolarchuk on volcano eruption, and Wyatt on welding equipment.

Upcoming plans are to go to the Uhrichsville water park.

Heels Down elects officers

The Heels Down 4-H Club met at the Dyer residence for the election of officers on April 4.

Officers elected include: Drew Riddle, health officer; Autumn Gardner, recreation; Karissa Dyer, news reporter; Kaylee Stephen, secretary; Ally Couts, treasurer; Moriah Rolli, vice president; Hannah Peeper, president; Brandon Stephens, safety reporter; and Johnathon Sheehan, photographer.
