PORT WASHINGTON -- The Port Washington Memorial Day services will start at noon on Monday, May 26 at Union Cemetery.

Each veteran at the service will be honored with their names being called, the services they served in and any unit they were assigned to.

The guest speaker will be Vane Scott III, who served in the U.S. Navy and is the commander of the Newcomerstown Honor Guard. Other participants will be singer Karen Fivecoat, the Indian Valley High School Band and two 4-H clubs.

Following the service, there will be a parade of veterans and other groups to honor Memorial Day and a chicken barbecue held by the Delaware Valley Fire District.
