Newcomerstown Library is kicking off summer with a busy month in June.

Beginning the first week of June will be registration for adult, teen and children's summer reading programs. Then beginning Monday, June 9, there will be weekly programs for kids and teens and weekly prize drawings for registered adults.

On Saturday, June 7, the friends will be having a bag and box book sale in the annex. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., fill a bag or box with books of your choosing for only $5. On Friday, June 13, they are having a "lawn chair drive-in" out on the patio. Bring your lawn chair and pull in to watch a movie on our giant screen. The movie is a new release based on a Tom Clancy character named Jack Ryan.

On June 14 at 1 p.m., will be the next middle school trivia. This month's adult trivia night will be Tiki Torch Trivia on June 20 at 7 p.m. and weather permitting, it will be held out on the patio. Call the library to register for either trivia event at 498-8228.

Rounding out the month, on June 27, Chris Hart will bring his portrayal of Cy Young to the library at 6 p.m.

Don't forget the farmer's market ongoing every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through the summer.
