American Legion Post 431 honored Donald "Tid" Hannhas of Newcomerstown for his service during the Korean War. He was presented a Korean War pin a recent ceremony. Hannahs served in the Army from 1952 to 1954, earned the Combat Infantry Badge, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, along with other decorations. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant First Class. Hannhas retired from Alsco, is married to Joann, and they have three children, Connie, Kevin and Donna.
