Bake sale set
The Newcomerstown Senior Center will have a bake sale on Friday, July 25 starting at 9:30 a.m. There will also be soup and sandwiches for sale. All are welcome. The center is located at 222 S. Bridge St., Newcomerstown. For information, call 498-4523.
Blood drive set
A blood drive is set for Wednesday, July 23 from 1 to 6 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown. To donate, call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
The Newcomerstown Lions' Club will have a Bowlathon on Thursday, July 31 at 6 p.m. at Cy Young Lanes, Newcomerstown. Teams will consist of five people with eight teams total. The cost is $50 per team to bowl three games. Cy Young Lanes will have available for purchase that evening. For information, call Ron Haver at 498-7979.
The Cy Young Youth League will be raffling off four Cleveland Indians tickets for Sept. 4 (7:05 p.m. start). The game is against the Tigers, sections 151/152, Row F (front row), includes parking pass. This is $286 value. The drawing will be Aug. 23. The tickets are compliments of Stocker Concrete.
Tickets are $2 each, three tickets for $5 or seven tickets for $10.

Save Our Pool brick sales are now available. Bricks, 4-inches by 8-inches, with laser engraving will be placed around the walkway of the Cy Young Pool, Newcomerstown.
Bricks are $40 each. Lettering can be three lines with 20 characters per line (punctuation and spaces count as a character).

Golf scramble set
Habitat for Humanity of Coshocton County is having its annual golf scramble at River Greens Golf Course on Saturday, July 26 with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Men's, women's and co-ed teams welcome.
There is a $1,000 team grand prize by draw.
Team fee is $240 and includes greens fees, cart and meal after.

TOPS meets on Tuesdays
TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 2227, in Newcomerstown, has meetings each Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the lobby of Christ United Methodist Church, Newcomerstown.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off
Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
