The Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District has a renewal levy on the Nov. 4 ballot.
The renewal levy is not an additional tax. The original emergency levy (meaning set amount of money) was passed back in February 2005.
It generates $750,000 per year and only that amount for the life of the levy.
The district scored an "A" on the Local Report Card for Value Added which means students are gaining more than a year's growth in their education during the school year.
By passage of the renewal levy, the Newcomerstown Schools can continue to provide a quality education to the community.
Please go vote on Nov. 4 and support Newcomerstown Schools, and vote yes for our renewal levy.
If you have any questions regarding the renewal levy, come to the district office at 702 S. River St., or give us a call at 498-8373.
