COSHOCTON -- The Coshocton Footlight Players announce the upcoming production of "Spoon River Anthology Project," to be performed on Nov. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. at the Triple Locks Theater, located at 685 N. Whitewoman St., Coshocton.

In this haunting play, based on Edgar Lee Master's "Spoon River Anthology," the former residents of Spoon River examine life and the longing for what might have been.

As the citizens reflect on the dreams, secrets and regrets of their lives, they paint a gritty and honest portrait of the town as all of the their pasts are illuminated.

Directed by Nathan Mayse, this moving play is a collection of short free-form poems and songs that collectively narrates the epitaphs of the residents of the small fictional town of Spoon River and includes a cast of veterans, as well as newcomers to the Triple Locks stage.
