Country music returns

Plans have been completed for country music to resume at the Kimbolton Community Center. The first program will take place Sunday, April 12 from noon until 4 p.m. All future programs will be held the first Sunday of each month as was the custom last year.



The monthly retirement luncheon for Kurz Kasch is set for Wednesday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. at April's Country Kich'n in Newcomerstown.

Steak fry set

Port Washington Masonic Lodge 202 in Gnadenhutten will have a steak fry at the lodge on Saturday, April 11 from 4 to 7 p.m.

There will be a strip steak for $15 or a chop steak for $10. Both dinners include a baked potato and salad and dessert bar.

The lodge is located at 112 S. Walnut St., Gnadenhutten.

Coin club to meet

Tuscarawas County Coin Club will meet Monday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Linn-Hert-Geib Family Center, N. Wooster Ave., Dover.

Public is welcome to attend.

Genealogical society to meet

Tuscarawas County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 6 at the library in Dennison.

The guest speaker will be Julie Murray, who will give a presentation on "DNA Testing to Further Your Research."

Parent athletes' meeting set

A meeting for parents of Newcomerstown Schools junior and senior high athletes for the fall 2015 season will be Wednesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. This meeting is mandatory.

Lifeguard recertification class

The American Red Cross will have a lifeguard recertification class on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Cross Chapter House and the Coshocton High School Pool.

Class size is limited in size and there is only one class per year.

Single moms group

Are you a single mom who needs a break, some answers, hope, wisdom, help? Join the Single Mom's group meetings on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at RaChard's Coffee Cove, 209 W. Main St., next to the Feed Barn.

Based on the book,"Hope and Help for the Single Mom," The 21 Principles of a Healthy Single Mom written by Lori Little.

The series is sponsored by the Victory Assembly of God and is free of charge.

Notary services available

The Newcomerstown Public Library now has notary services available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The services are free of charge.

TOPS meets on Tuesdays

TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 2227, in Newcomerstown, has meetings each Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Newcomerstown.

Christ's Kitchen

Christ's Kitchen, located in the Fellowship Hall of the Christ United Methodist Church in Newcomerstown, serves dinner from 4 to 6:15 p.m. every Monday. The dining room is open from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

The meal is free but donations are accepted.
