Special music this summer planned
St. Paul Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown, has announced the following people will present special music this summer and fall. Everyone is welcome to join them at the 10:30 a.m. worship service, to hear these musicians sing and play their praise to The Lord.

Church to have ice cream social July 25
COSHOCTON -- The Roscoe United Methodist's ice cream social will be July 25. Rain or shine, you'll be comfortable in our air-conditioned fellowship hall. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and last until the food runs out.
The menu consists of: shredded chicken, sloppy joes and/or grilled hotdog sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, noodles, homemade desserts, ice cream and a soft drink. A suggested donation $5 per person is requested. All monies will be given to Relay for Life.

VBS set at Church of New Hope
Vacation Bible School is planned for July 27 through July 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Church of New Hope in Port Washington.
Vacation Bible School is for children ages 4 through sixth grade.
Church of Christ to have VBS
Vacation Bible School will begin soon at the Newcomerstown Church of Christ, located at 475 S. Goodrich St. The event is free and there is something for adults, children and teens. VBS is scheduled for July 27-30 from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly.
Topics this year will include God's Word, defining the inspiration of the Bible, and how it came to man, God's Love, His Son and His plan for salvation.
"This is a great opportunity to meet our congregation, have fun and learn more about God and His Word," said Greg Circle, preacher at Newcomerstown Church of Christ. "It happens in the evening and there are classes for children, teens and adults. We hope the whole family will join us for a study of God's Word."
Last year's event hosted 44 students and Circle hopes that number will grow in the congregation's seventh consecutive annual VBS.

Peoples Community Church to
Peoples Community Church will have "Safari Jungle" Vacation Bible School on Sunday, July 19 through Friday, July 24.
Sunday night will begin at 5:30 p.m. until 8:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 6 to 8:45 p.m., and Friday 6 p.m. with the program starting at 7 p.m.

'The Wonder of God' VBS set
STONE CREEK -- On Aug. 4, 5 and 6, "The Wonder of God" Bible school program will take place at the Grace Community Church in Stone Creek.
Each evening begins with a supper served at 5:30 p.m. for all students attending and their families.
Bible school then follows from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be classes for children from ages 3 to 12 and up. The focus of the school will be instructing the students on how to help other children through donations and prayer while focusing on the "Wonder of God." The children will also participate in other activities such as crafts and singing. The school will be both instructional and fun for the children. Trash and Treasure Sale set
PORT WASHINGTON -- West Union Church, located at 13679 Gilmore Road, Port Washington, will be having its annual Trash and Treasure Sale on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There also will be a bake sale and food stand. Serving will be all day.
