DOVER -- There never was any doubt where Casey Perkowski, MD, a Dover native and graduate of Dover High School, wanted to be when it was time to begin his career as a family physician.

"It has been a dream of mine for many years now to return home to the Tuscarawas Valley to practice medicine," said Perkowski, who has joined the staff of providers at UPS Central located on the Union Hospital campus in the former Dover Orthopaedics building at 205 Hospital Drive.

"There is no better place on earth to raise a family and I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity," Dr. Perkowski said. "I am ready and willing to do whatever I can to give back to this great community."

Dr. Perkowski recently completed training with the Aultman Family Medicine Residency program at Canton.

He earned his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University and a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Ohio State University.

He is Board certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Medicine.

He and his wife Kourtney reside in Dover with their daughters, Piper, 5, and Bella, 3, and are expecting their third child in November.

Dr. Perkowski is accepting new patients at UPS Central, an affiliate of Union Hospital. For appointments, call 330-343-7950.
