COSHOCTON -- The November general election ballot for Coshocton County residents has been approved by the county board of elections.

Locally, residents will be selecting new mayors in West Lafayette and Plainfield, as well as other positions.

Candidates include:

Mayor of West Lafayette (vote for no more than one, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Stephen R. Bordenkircher and Timothy L. Tubbs II.

Village Council of West Lafayette (vote for no more than two, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Ron Lusk.

Mayor of Plainfield (vote for no more than one, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Linda J. Scott.

Village Council of Plainfield (vote for no more than two, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Donna D. Addy and William V. Addy.

Member of the Ridgewood Board of Education (vote for no more than three, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Dennis Bahmer, Vic Cardenzana, Scott Craigo, Alan Folkert, Helen Leindecker, Catherine McCrea, Rodney Merce, and John Riebesell.

Member of the Newcomerstown Board of Education (vote for no more than two, term commencing Jan. 1, 2016) -- Randy I. Addy, David Archer, Steven Brode, and Ron Haver.

Member of the Newcomerstown Board of Education (vote for no more than one, unexpired term to end Dec. 31, 2017) -- Arlene Mayhew.

The primary election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3.
