The following is the schedule for the month of October for the Newcomerstown Quilting Bees.

Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Charity Tuesday. They will be tying school blankets for children in our community. Anyone is welcome who would like to help out. All supplies are provided and only a simple knot is required.

Oct. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. Beginner Quilt Piecing and Evening Quilt Bees. Beginners will be learning how to make Log Cabin and Quilt Bees are working on a Buckeye Log cabin.

Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Quilt Bees will be working on their Pineapple Pattern that was started last month.

Oct. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. Beginner Quilt Piecing and Evening Quilt Bees. Beginners will be working on Drunkards Path while Bees will work on UFO UnFinished Objects.

Oct. 20, Scrapaholics, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Undecided.

Oct. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m., Beginner Quilt Piecing and Evening Bees. Beginners will be working on the Dresden Plate pattern while the Bees will be working on current projects.

Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Charity Tuesday. We will continue to tie blankets for the children in our community.

Oct. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m., Beginners Quilt Piecing and Evening Quilt Bees. Beginners will learn how to put together hexagons for Grandmothers Flower Garden, and the Evening Bees will continue to work on their UFOs or Buckeye Log cabin.
