Church offering full menu on Wednesday nights

Installation service set

An installation service for Pastor Robert Lafollette at First Baptist Church, 135 S. River St., Newcomerstown, will be Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m.

Sermon will be by Pastor Jim Reed, special music by Lynde Randle and a poem read by Faye Cusma.

Refreshments will be served.

Holiday bazaar planned

West Union United Methodist Church, located at 13679 Gilmore Road, Port Washington, near Gilmore, will be having its annual holiday bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There also will be a bake sale and food stand. Serving will be all day.

Church to have annual dinner

St. James Lutheran Church, located at 215 Church St., Tuscarawas, is having its annual Swiss steak dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the church basement.

Menu includes Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and butter, pie, coffee or punch.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

Fall revival set

"Reviving the Hill's Fall Revival" is set for Nov. 9-11 at the Wesley Community Chapel, 17333 Chapel Road, Newcomerstown, starting at 6 p.m.

The host pastoral couple is the Rev. Jay and Sharon Rock. Joining the Rocks will be Bishop Rich and Angel Boll. Pastor Boll has served the Church of God in many capacities. He has a heart to win people to Jesus Christ and a passion for evangelism and benevolence. Because of his passion, Pastor Boll has preached in many Church of God Youth Cams and revivals around the state and the country.

Christmas Bazaar set

GNADENHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Moravian Church will host a Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

There will be crafts, baked goods, candy and Moravian merchandise.

Also, a turkey dinner will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. The cost is $10 per person. Dine-in or carry-out.
