Leaf pick up
Newcomerstown village residents are asked to bag their leaves and place them on the curb.
The Newcomerstown Street Department will be through to collect the bags.
Leaves will be collected until Thanksgiving.
The Newcomerstown Rotary Club would like to thank everyone for the support of the poinsettia sales over the years, but they will not be selling the flowers this year.
This has been a long-standing Christmas tradition for the club and it has helped support many of the projects in the village and beyond.
Rotary will have a new project coming up early next year.
Steak fry planned
Port Washington Masonic Lodge 202 will be having a steak fry on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 112 S. Walnut St., Gnadenhutten. They will have a strip steak for $15 or chop steak for $10 and both include salad bar and dessert bar. Proceeds benefit local charities.
The Newcomerstown Water Department Office, 777 E. State St., Newcomerstown, will be closed Friday, Nov. 6 for repairs and updates.

Soup supper set
The Blue Ridge Grange in Orange will be hosting an all-you-can eat soup supper on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 4:30 p.m. The menu includes seven different kinds of soup, salad, drink and dessert. The cost is $7 per person (only soup is all-you-can-eat). All proceeds go to the Blue Ridge Grange. For questions, call Elizabeth at 330-897-5293.
Soup, baked potato luncheon
Gnadenhutten Lions Club will have a soup and baked potato luncheon on Sunday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Masonic Temple, 112 S.. Walnut St.,s Gnadenhutten.
Cost is $5 and dessert table available for $1. A great silent auction will be going on as well. Carry-out available.
Bring any old eyeglasses you would like to turn in and help our mission of helping those who cannot see.
Retirement dinner set
The Kurz-Kasch monthly retirement dinner is set for Nov. 11 at 11:30 a.m. at April's Country Kitch'n in Newcomerstown.
Craft bazaar set
The eighth annual craft bazaar at the Newcomerstown Churches of Christ in Christian Union, corner of State Street and McKinley Avenue, Newcomerstown, is set for Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a lunch stand, baked goods, homemade vegetable soup, along with sandwiches and desserts.
Fall Gala planned
The Newcomerstown Senior Center will have its third annual Fall Gala on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the senior center, 222 Bridge St., Newcomerstown.
There will be crafts, home decor, baked goods, food stand and more.

Thanksgiving feast set
The annual community Thanksgiving, sponsored by the Newcomerstown Ministerial Association and with all donations raised going to Journey's End Ministry, will be Sunday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. with doors open at 4:30 p.m. in the River of Life at Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown.
Craft show planned
The 25th annual Christmas in the Village Craft Show will be Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the David Barber Civic Center, 1066 E. State Street, Newcomerstown.
Area crafters will be set up to sell their hand made items. Included in these will be crocheted items, plastic canvas items, recycled items, lighted bottles, wreathes, wooden items, glass items, candy, baked goods, jewelry, garlands, small decorated trees, all natural products, greeting cards, embroidered items and much more.
Lunch stand by NERS will be available too.

Chicken barbecue set
A chicken barbecue is planned for Saturday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Tunnel Hill Community Center, Stone Creek. For tickets, call 330-308-0709.
Round and square dances are set for Saturday, Nov. 7 from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Tunnel Hill Community Center, Stone Creek. The cost is $6 per person.
Parade entries sought
Entries are being sought for the 2015 Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Line-up is at 4 p.m. at the Cy Young Park and the parade moves at 5 p.m.
Santa will be at the East Elementary School immediately following the parade. There will be treats and refreshments.

Tunnel Hill Community Center, 112 E. Maple St., Stone Creek, will be open on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. for walking, exercise, playing cards, or visiting with friends.

Single moms group
Are you a single mom who needs a break, some answers, hope, wisdom, help? Join the Single Mom's group meetings on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at RaChard's Coffee Cove, 209 W. Main St., next to the Feed Barn.
Based on the book,"Hope and Help for the Single Mom," The 21 Principles of a Healthy Single Mom written by Lori Little.
The series is sponsored by the Victory Assembly of God and is free of charge.

The Newcomerstown Public Library now has notary services available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The services are free of charge.
TOPS meets on Tuesdays
TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 2227, in Newcomerstown, has meetings each Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Newcomerstown.

Christ's Kitchen, located in the Fellowship Hall of the Christ United Methodist Church in Newcomerstown, serves dinner from 4 to 6:15 p.m. every Monday. The dining room is open from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
