Everal's Chapel Preservation Society is planning a Community Harvest dinner starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 in the fellowship hall of Everal's Chapel, located west of Newcomerstown.
The covered dish event is open to community members, former church members and families associated with the Old Church. A special guest will speak on the evening of the event. Bring a covered dish and table service. Drinks will be provided.

LPDC meeting set
The LPDC meeting for the Ridgewood Local School District has changed from Nov. 18 to Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. at the Administration Building, 301 S. Oak St., West Lafayette.
Meet the Team/Soup supper set
The Winter Meet the Teams will be on Friday, Nov. 20 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Newcomerstown High School.
They will be recognizing the boys's and girls' basketball teams, and the wrestling team.
Prior to the event, there will be a soup supper. The meal will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost of the supper will be $3 per person. The soup supper will run from 5 to 6 p.m.
Fall Gala planned
The Newcomerstown Senior Center will have its third annual Fall Gala on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the senior center, 222 Bridge St., Newcomerstown.
There will be crafts, home decor, baked goods, food stand and more.

Parade entries sought
Entries are being sought for the 2015 Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Line-up is at 4 p.m. at the Cy Young Park and the parade moves at 5 p.m.
Santa will be at the East Elementary School immediately following the parade. There will be treats and refreshments.

Ladies' Night Out set
Relay For Life's annual Ladies' Night Out is set for Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, Newcomerstown.
It's a great evening of fun for a great cause. Relay For Life teams up with over 25 vendors to get your Christmas Shopping started. There will be lots of raffles, door prizes, vendor cash-n-carry, food and lots more.
There is a $2 entry fee that gets you your raffle ticket.
