Gradall and Buckeye Career Center have a long standing partnership. Gradall donates their scrap metals and cut-offs for students to practice their welds and build small projects. In turn, Buckeye welding students build various shelving units, a sanding cart for aluminum water tanks, bumper brackets -- and other things that are used within the Gradall shop area, but not sold. Gradall provides blueprints of the projects along with the cut pieces so the students learn to read blueprints and place the welds where the weld symbols are required. Bruce Finnicum, senior welding instructor said, "It is a great experience for our students to create something that will be used. We are very appreciative to Gradall for their on-going support and their commitment to our students. Many of our former high school and adult ed students are currently working at Gradall, so Gradall's continued interest in Buckeye Career Center has paid off for them by getting well-trained employees."
