State testing is in full swing here at West School. We have given ELA tests to 3rd and 4th graders. Here is the testing schedule for the remainder of the April and May.
Math- April 25 and 26
Math- April 27 and 28
Social Studies- May 4 and 5
ELA- April 21 and 22
Math- May 2 and 3
Science- May 9 and 10
Students will be testing in the morning each day and each test will last anywhere from 75-90 minutes. Students take these tests online using a Chromebook. Please make sure students get to school on time (the tardy bell rings at 8:15 a.m.) as we start testing first thing in the morning.
We are planning to have Grandparent Breakfast in May! Grandparents are invited to come and enjoy breakfast at school with their grandchild. We will be serving French toast sticks, sausage links, juice, milk and coffee. Cost for adults is $3. West School students are free. Fliers will be sent home with students. Please return the RSVP or call the office so we can plan accordingly.

May 9- Preschool, second grade, Miss Lefler's class
May 10- Preschool, third grade
May 11- fourth grade
May 12th- fifth grade
It's hard to believe but the school year is quickly coming to a close. Teachers are planning field trips and other special activities for the month of May. Here are some upcoming events at West School that families are welcome to attend!
Thursday, May 5- Art Show (grades K-5) 4 to 6 p.m.
Friday, May 20- Field Day (grades 2-5) 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Monday, May 23- Preschool Olympics (Preschool classes)
Wednesday, May 25- fifth grade talent show (fifth grade) 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, May 25- Awards Assembly (12:30 p.m. for second/third grade, 2 p.m. for fourth/fifth grade)
