DOVER -- The 2016 Tuscarawas County Pork royalty was recently crowned at St. John's United Church of Christ of Dover at the annual Tuscarawas County Pork Producers annual spring meeting.

MaKayla Frink was crowned as the 2016 Tuscarawas County Pork Princess. MaKayla is the daughter of Josh and Mandy Frink of Uhrichsville. MaKayla is 11 years old and is a fifth grader at Claymont Intermediate School. Makayla is a five-year member of the Boots & Chutes 4-H Club where she is secretary. She takes market hog, market steer and beef breeding all for three years. MaKayla is a member of Tuscarawas County Livestock Judging Team.

Maddy Schupp was crowned the 2016 Tuscarawas County Pork Queen. Maddy is the daughter of Todd and Jackie Schupp of New Philadelphia. Maddy is 16 years old and is a junior at Indian Valley High School at Gnadenhutten. This is Maddy 11th year in 4-H, she is a member of Johnstown Rebels 4-H Club where she is president. She is a three-year member of Indian Valley FFA where she is the Chapter's Reporter. Maddy has taken Market Hogs for seven years, Market Goats for two years and has taken miscellaneous projects for nine years. Maddy is a member of Tuscarawas County Young Pork Producers, Tuscarawas County Jr. Fairboard and Tuscarawas County Livestock Judging Team.
