A Blue Star Banner ceremony, honoring Pfc. Caleb Fenton and his family, was conducted at the American Legion in Newcomerstown. Pfc. Fenton is the son of Gary and Heather Fenton and a graduate of Newcomerstown High School. He currently is in the U.S. Army Reserve and an ROTC Cadet at Kent State University where he will graduate in the spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management. He completed Basic Training at Fort Sill, Okla., and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston and is serving our country as a Combat Medic at the 256th Combat Support Hospital. Blue Star Banners were presented to his parents, sister and grandfather/. Pfc. Fenton and his family stated they were honored for the banners and they will proudly represent members of all the armed services and those that have served. In the picture are Pfc. Fenton, his family and members of American Legion Post 431, Veterans of Foreign Wars 2202, and Vietnam Veterans of America 532. These veterans' organizations honors those serving and their families.
