After 15 years of dedicated service as a branch manager for DoverPhila Federal Credit Union, Dave Archer of Newcomerstown is set to retire on Jan. 2, 2018.
Dave had 27 years of prior experience in the financial industry before joining the credit union in 2003 as branch manager of the Newcomerstown office.
"Dave has helped the credit union become a presence in Newcomerstown and has been instrumental in the growth of that branch," said Jack Dooling, Chief Executive Officer and President of DoverPhila Federal Credit Union. "We wish Dave the very best in retirement, and we thank him for his service and friendship."
Taking over Dave Archer’s position as branch manager of the Newcomerstown office is Becki Allen. Becki will maintain some of her current duties as well as new undertakings as branch manager that include overseeing staff and loan origination and closing.
Becki was a full-time teller and head teller in the banking industry for 20 years before joining the credit union family in February 2013 as head teller of the Newcomerstown office.
"Becki’s positive work ethic and her ability to connect with members along with her strong presence in the community make her a great candidate for this position," praised Dooling.
Deb Beckley was promoted to head teller in Newcomerstown. She will maintain her current duties and take on new responsibilities such as managing teller operations and cash handling.
Deb was involved with the banking and financial industry for 17 years as a teller and as an office manager with a local real estate appraisal office before joining the credit union in November 2005.
"Her [Deb] experience throughout the credit union and her enthusiasm for her work will suit her well in this new role," said Jack Dooling. "Both of these employees bring a wealth of experience and energy to their new positions."
