Go Fine-Free with Food!
?March at Coshocton and West Lafayette Branch Libraries? is National Nutrition Month and the theme this year is "Go Further With Food!" To help spread the message of a healthy diet, the Library is going "Fine-Free with Food!" for the month of March. Bring in a non-perishable food donation to the Coshocton Library or the West Lafayette Branch and any fines, old or new, will be cleared. All food contributions will go to the local food pantry. Books Galore Book Store at the Coshocton Public Library?, Monday 3-6 p.m.; and Wednesday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ?Gently used books, DVDs, videos, and magazines are for sale at rock bottom prices. The store is located in the basement of the Coshocton Public Library and operated by the Friends of the Library, all proceeds benefit the Library, the West Lafayette Branch and Bookmobile.
Book Talk ?Monday is March 5 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Coshocton Public Library?.Monday Book Talk meets the first Monday of each month September through December and February through May. Lapsits are Tuesdays 9 – 9:30 a.m. at the West Lafayette Branch Library; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10-10:30 a.m. at the Coshocton Public Library?. ?For babies and toddlers, birth to three years, plus parent or caregiver, focusing on early literacy and socialization skills through rhyme, rhythm, finger plays, and music, all from the security of a parent's lap. Twenty minutes is spent on a structured circle time, reading the shortest of stories, ending with parachute play, art projects, musical instruments, bubbles, or other fun activities.
