WEST LAFAYETTE — Every Tuesday the women at First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St. in West Lafayette meet to assemble things for Samaritan's Purse Shoe Box Ministry and Bible Study.
10 a.m. - noon: Shoe Box Ministry
Noon: Lunch (bring your own)
12:30 - 1:30 p.m.: Bible Study in book of Isaiah and learn of Camp Barakel in Michigan.
Bring a Bible and sewing machine and join the fellowship. Use back entrance.
There will be an Awana Grand Prix Saturday, March 24, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Over 200 people will gather to watch the children's cars zip down the tracks at the First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., W. Lafayette. Cars from Fresno Bible Church, Chili Bible Church and First Baptist Church will participate. A light lunch will be served. Devotions will be by Chip Wood, a Baptist Church Planter and director of BCP Youth Ministry which encompasses Teen Expedition Curricula and the Joy Club.
On Sunday, March 25, Missionary Chip Wood and his wife Karen will be at First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., West Lafayette, to speak in the Sunday School Hour and Morning Worship Service.
There will be a carry-in dinner following the morning service to meet and know more about the Wood Ministries. Chip and Karen Wood are serving with Baptist Church Planters. They direct the BCP Youth Ministry. This encompasses the Teen Expedition Curricula and the Joy Club. They are passionate about the church and its mandate to disciple its members.
Sunday School Hour is at 9:15 a.m. and Morning Service is at 10:15 a.m. All are welcome.
