Team Trivia

Chris Hart and Jeff Orr will be hosting Team Trivia at the all new ARSTNCT building, 304 S. College St. on Tuesday, July 10, at 7 p.m. Pizza and soda will be available for purchase. Donations accepted to help cover costs of running lights, air, etc. Registration is recommended. Teams of up to six persons per team will be the format. To register, call 740-575-5710.

Class of 1956

Class of 1956

The Newcomerstown High School Class of 1956 will meet at noon at the Winterset Kitchen on July 12.

Class of 1957

The Newcomerstown High School Class of 1957 will meet at East Main Kitchen and Coffee Restaurant in Baltic July 3 at noon for the monthly luncheon.

Class reunion

Hearts of Faith

Hearts of Faith, a multi-award winning sister duet, will perform In concert at Rocky Fork Ranch Resort Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Friday June 29, at 74978 Broadhead Road, Kimbolton.

Concert

Rocky Fork Ranch Resort Chapel will present Bronc Adams in concert July 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Rocky Fork Ranch Resort Clubhouse. Adams is an evangelist, Nashville singer, singing gospel music. Free concert. Come and be blessed.

Bible School

Attention: First Responders - Policemen, Firemen, and EMT's! Countryside Baptist Church, 4283 Shoemaker Road SW, Port Washington, is having a Vacation Bible School for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade from 6-8 p.m. on July 16-18. Children will meet each responder, see their vehicles and tools, and learn how these things are related to what Jesus has done for us! There will also be a simple meal and games to be played. Farmers Market

The Newcomerstown Farmers Market is open in the Newcomerstown Public Library parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The main parking lot will be closed to traffic during the Farmers’ Market.

Country music

The Kimbolton Community Center will host an afternoon of country music from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 1. Menu for the day will include baked steak and chicken dinners, as well as an assortment of sandwiches, salads and homemade desserts. Carry out is available. This event, sponsored by The Kimbolton Homecoming Committee, is open to the public with no admission charge. There will be cake walks and a 50-50 drawing

Featured art

The West Lafayette Library is featuring Hopewell Industry individuals as the featured artists at the West Lafayette Library during July. Stop in at the library to view the unique picture art of each talented person sharing their painting. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, noon to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Music benefit

A Bluegrass Gospel / Country Music Jam is planned for the third Sunday of each month from 2-5 p.m. at the Historic Everals Chapel, 60417 Everals Church Road just west of Newcomerstown. The event is hosted by Chestnut Hill Bluegrass band and sponsored by Everals Chapel Preservation Society. The event is free and open to the public, All donations and proceeds go toward maintenance and repairs of the old Historic church. Contact Duane Hardesty on 740-498-8456. Food and drinks available. Bring your instruments and come join us.

Vacation Bible School

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown will have Vacation Bible School July 9-13 from 9 a.m. to noon. The theme is "Game On!" directed by Tracy Brown. Game On! VBS takes off in full swing as kids look to God and His ultimate playbook for the best game they will ever play. Join VBS for snacks, games, music, crafts and more!
