Raven’s Glenn Winery of Coshocton County was notified recently that their Noiret wine known as "Mad Raven" was awarded a prestigious silver medal at the Indy International Wine Competition.

With nearly 2000 entries, this competition is the largest scientifically organized and independent wine competition in the United States.

Beau Guilliams, president and winemaker for Ravens Glenn said, "Our Mad Raven is an example of a very approachable and versatile red blend wine. The Noiret grape which we grow in our vineyard, has rich blackberry tones and dark chocolate flavors and deals well with our soil here in eastern Coshocton County."

Guilliams went on to say that "Mad Raven is the perfect wine for the grilling season. This wine pairs well with burgers and ribs or simply enjoy with pasta or pizza for those lazy summer evenings."
