Board meeting

The Newcomerstown Board of Education Organizational Meeting will be January 9, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the High School Conference Room.

Class of 1969

The Newcomerstown High School Class of 1969 will hold its 50th year reunion at Raven’s Glenn Winery, 56183 County Road 143, West Lafayette, (Off Route 36) on August 17, 2019. Contact Lyman Gano and Norleen Hoadley (norleenhoadley@gmail.com) with address updates since the 45th reunion and pass the word to the out of area classmates.

Board meeting

The Indian Valley Board of Education will have a special meeting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Board of Education Office, 100 N. Walnut St., Gnadenhutten, for the purpose of conducting business necessary for completion by the end of the year.

Art on display

The West Lafayette Library featured artist during December will be David Snyder, a Coshocton County resident. He will be sharing his paintings done in acrylic, watercolor or ink, of the Willowbrook coal tipple and barns of Ohio in Coshocton, Holmes and Muskingum counties. When Dave isn’t painting you can find him at the Warsaw Museum, where he’s been curator for 15 years. The library is open Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Church forms

The newly formed Bible Fellowship Church meeting at the River Greens Golf Course banquet hall for a refreshing new worship experience. Services: Sunday at 10 a.m. Prayer Time and Bible Study in Acts; Sunday at noon, Fellowship Dinner; Sunday at 1 p.m., Bible Study in Psalms; Wednesday at 7 p.m., Bible Study in Revelation.
