Company Wrench was the low bidder with a bid of $135,800 for a 2017 Kobelco. Bids, which were opened on Wednesday, Feb. 13, were as follows: The decision to award the bid to Company Wrench was made upon the recommendation of Joseph Bachman, Tuscarawas County Engineer.

During Wednesday’s meeting, the Commissioners also authorized Bachman to sign a LPA Federal-Local Let Project Agreement in order to move forward with a paving project. The project, which will pave approximately nine miles of Ragersville Rd., will be funded with 80% federal funds, and 20% locally. According to Joe Bachman, the project could potentially open for bid in the summer of 2020, and paving potentially completed in the fall of 2020.
