Salt Fork State Park is planning its first activity of the year with the annual spring wildflower walk.

The walk will take place at 1 p.m. April 27, beginning at Kennedy Stone House Trail parking lot. It will take place rain or shine.

Salt Fork naturalist, John Higgenbottom, will be there to lead and help participants identify the many species of plants along the way and Docent Al Arabia and family will be at the Kennedy Stone House Museum to offer refreshments and a tour of the landmark built in 1840.
