Bernadine Dietrich, 93, of Barnesville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019, at The Inn at Summit Trail in Reynoldsburg. She was born Nov. 7, 1925 in Barnesville, the daughter of Cecil and Clara Heaney.

She graduated from Barnesville High School. Bernadine was a prominent business woman in Barnesville, owning both the Green Cottage Restaurant and the Mayfair Dress Shop. She was a member of the Barnesville East Main Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Louis Dietrich, her loving husband of 72 years; a daughter, Rebecca E. Dietrich; sisters, Faye Kemp, Mary Shade, and Marjorie Smith; and brothers, William Heaney and George Bernard Heaney.

Bernadine is survived by two sons; Larry (Linda) of Barnesville and Mark (Cheri) of Grove City; daughter, Marcia Garvey (Ronald) of Naples, Fla.; five grandsons, Brian, Scott (Anne), Douglas (Rebecca), Ryan (Amanda) Garvey, and Gregory (Katelyn) Garvey; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, April 12, 2019, until the time of the memorial service with Ev. Val Roxby officiating at the East Main Church of Christ, 329 E. South St., Barnesville. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville.
