Description: The Mount Hope Event Center is a 61,125-square-foot building that can host an event, show, wedding or auction. There also is a horse arena building on the same campus as the event center and sale barn. The horse arena building is 27,000 square feet and is connected to the event center via a tunnel to keep people out of the weather when moving from building to building. The kitchen is loaded with cooler and freezer, 10-top range, 4-foot griddle, convection oven and a 12-foot stainless steel table, with two serving windows and plenty of space to seat diners.

Description: Celebrate “Christmas” at a dozen fabulous stops of Amish Country during the annual Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns. Each year's theme is different. The tour, hosted by the Amish Country Lodging Council, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14 and 15, 2019. Hours on Saturday are 1-7 p.m. and Sunday 1-6 p.m. Tickets go on sale in the summer and sell out quickly. At each stop on the two-day self-guided tour satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious indulgences. The inns will offer inspirational decor and festive music. Many inns will also feature local businesses. The Cookie tour has generated more than $200,000 for local charities over the first 11 years the event has been held.
