An interior view of Hartline's Hardware Store, circa 1915. The store was once located on Main Street in Newcomerstown. The building is currently occupied by H&R Block. The business was later purchased by Conley Taylor and re-named Taylor's Hardware, where it remained in business until 1941 when Mr. Taylor was killed when his automobile was struck by a train at the River Street railroad crossing. The same accident also claimed the life of another Newcomerstown resident, Henry Decker.
