Country Music in Kimbolton
An afternoon of country music will be presented Sunday, Sept. 1, at the Kimbolton Community Center. Music will begin at noon and continue through 3 p.m. with the bands to be determined.
The kitchen will open at noon to serve baked steak and chicken dinners as well as an assortment of sandwiches and desserts. Carry-out will be available. There will be cake walks and a 50-50 drawing.
This event, sponsored by The Kimbolton Homecoming Committee, is open to the public with no admission charge.
Exhibitor space still available for Women in Business Expo
Women in and women-owned businesses are invited to exhibit at the 2019 Women in Business EXPO: The Pink Party at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 18.
The event creates a networking opportunity. Collaborations, sales, partnerships and more can be found at the expo.
The event offers free admission to the public. A nominal fee of $175 secures a business’ booth space, which includes a continental breakfast. Exhibitor registration forms and payment can be completed online at ohiobilling.com.

The event is presented by Ohio Billing Inc., Gold Force Administrative Support and the Small Business Development Center at Kent State Tuscarawas. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rainbow Connection "Seeds of Hope."
Fall storytime sessions at Dover library to begin
Infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers can get a weekly literacy boost at Dover Public Library this fall. Meet Claire in the children's department castle Wednesdays from 10 to 10:20 a.m., beginning Sept. 4, for Baby & Me Storytime. Children aged birth to 3 years are invited to this introductory session to learn about books and engage in fun rhymes and songs. This storytime will be followed by free play and socializing and no registration is necessary.
From 11 to 11:45 a.m. on Wednesdays, also beginning Sept. 4, join Claire in the community room for Rockin' Robin Storytime, geared toward preschoolers (Ages 3 and up). This more energetic Storytime involves books, movement, songs, and rhymes to develop important pre-reading skills. We will have a fun activity or craft following the program. NHS Class of 55 reunion

Guest speaker at Bible Fellowship Church
Max McCullough will be a guest speaker at Bible Fellowship Church on Sept. 1. McCullough was born and raised in Coshocton County. He graduated from River View High School and was an associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Coshocton.
McCullough is a retired GARBC pastor and makes his home with his wife Carol in Hartville.
Bible Fellowship Church meets at the Banquet Hall at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette on State Route 751.
Sunday school is from 9 to 10 a.m. and morning worship is from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
