Michael Clark, of Dover Township, recently graduated with a master’s of science in construction management at Louisiana State University’s 289th commencement ceremonies held on May 10 and 11, 2019, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This achievement follows graduating with highest honors with a bachelor’s of science in construction engineering technology from The University of Southern Mississippi on Dec. 16, 2016, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
While at LSU, Michael maintained a 4.25 GPA and was inducted into the Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Lambda Chi, which is an international honor society that recognizes outstanding students in the field of construction.
At Southern Miss, Michael maintained a 4.0 GPA and made the president’s list each semester which led him to be inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Clark is a transportation engineer in the engineering department for the Ohio Department of Transportation's District 11 office in New Philadelphia.
Clark was a 1994 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and is the son of Dennis and Patti Clark. He resides in Dover Township with his wife Carrie and sons Ruan and Remington.
