WEST LAFAYETTE — Ridgewood High continued its solid play in the Inter-Valley Conference volleyball with a 25-17, 26-24 and 25-23 victory over Garaway High.

With the victory, the Lady Generals improved to a sparkling 7-1 in IVC play and 13-2 overall.

Aleeah Cabot tallied 19 assists, 10 digs, there points (ace) to lead RHS, while Hannah Maust added 12 kills, five blocks and Jaelyn McGee collected eight kills and three blocks.

Kalie Rettos contributed four kills, eight digs, eight points (2 aces), Carly Griffith had nine digs, three points (ace) and Kassidy Alexander chipped in with four kills, seven digs, four points, (3 aces). Madisyn Colvin finished with 10 digs, three kills, four points (3 aces) and Ella Matusik racked up 12 assists and five points.


WEST LAFAYETTE — A strong Ridgewood High squad got past visiting Buckeye Trail on Thursday by scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-12 in an Inter-Valley Conference volleyball match-up.

With the home win, the Lady Generals improve to 8-1 in IVC play and 14-2 overall, while the Lady Warriors slip to 10-5 overall and 8-4 in IVC competition.

Gabby Hughes racked up five points, with seven digs, 15 assists for the Lady Warriors, while Ava Tank also scored five points with three kills and a air of blocks. Sam Canner chipped in with three points (2 aces), and strong play at the net with nine digs, six kills and seven blocks.

Madison King finished with two points, six digs, five kills, with Joley Wildes contributed one point, six digs and Sydney Morris added seven digs.

Aleeah Cabot paced the Lady Generals’ effort with 15 assists, 10 digs, eight points (2 aces), with Carly Griffith adding 10 digs, six points (2 aces) and Madisyn Colvin finishing with seven kills, 10 digs, one block, and two points.
