COSHOCTON — Once again this Christmas season, employees at the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office are supporting The Salvation Army’s Christmas Castle Project by donating the proceeds of what has become the annual "Beards for Bucks" program.

For a fee of $100, employees are allowed to sport a beard from Nov. 1 to March 31. This year, the ladies of the office are getting in on the act by donating $50 or $100 for the privilege of wearing hats at work on Fridays or daily.

Over the past several years, this program has made it possible to donate several thousand dollars to help purchase much needed winter clothing for children in Coshocton County.

Please join the sheriff’s office employees in supporting this and other local charities this Christmas season and throughout the year.
