Art on display

The West Lafayette Library is featuring pictures of watercolors and acrylics of landscapes, portraits and a still life painted by Esther Marie Versch during the month of November. Library hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Indian Valley school board meeting

Inidan Valley Local Schools Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at Midvale Elementary School.

Bazaar, craft show

A holiday bazaar and craft show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at Lake Park Pavilion, 23253 SR 83, Coshocton. There will be 50+ tables of handmade crafts, ornaments, holiday décor, candles, woodcrafts and more. There will also be a raffle drawing and a 50/?50 drawing. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Park.

1961 luncheon

The Newcomerstown High School class of 1961 will meet for lunch at noon Dec. 3, at the Touraine Club, Newcomerstown.

Cub Scout

Pack meeting

On Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a meeting at the East School to establishing a Cub Scout Pack in Newcomerstown. The mission of Scouts BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law. Cub Scouting is open to youth, boys and girls, in grades K-5. Questions can be directed to Lee Russell at 740-502-4529.

Cookie, candy sale

Isleta United Methodist Church will hold its 13th annual "Christmas Cookie and Candy" sale in the church basement on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 to 11 a.m. There will be hundreds of holiday cookies and candies to choose from, and you can make up your own assortment of favorites. Price is $6.50 per pound. The church is located at 58608 CR 9, Newcomerstown.

Christmas bazaar

A Christmas Bazaar will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Tunnel Hill Community Center, Stone Creek. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. to include pancake, sausage, eggs to order, fruit and drinks.

A lunch stand will serve soups and sandwiches from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. all food is free-will donation.

Pie orders will be taken until Dec. 1.

Holiday open house

Mingle and jingle with family and friends at the West Lafayette Branch Library Holiday Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. There will be hot cocoa, cookies, a holiday craft, music, and door prize drawing. The West Lafayette Christmas Parade will go past the branch library at 1 p.m. The holiday celebration is held in conjunction with the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce ‘Christmas in the Village’ community event.

Christmas Hymn Sing

Bible Fellowship Church will host its first Christmas Hymn Sing at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at River Greens Golf Course Banquet Hall, 22749 State Route 751, West Lafayette. Bring your favorite Christmas cookies or goodies for a time of fellowship.
