COSHOCTON — The Isleta United Methodist Church is partnering with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office to help members of the local community.

"When deputies and detectives from our officer interact with people who find themselves in difficult situations, the officers can give out gift cards for fuel and food," said Sheriff Tim Rogers.

Recent examples of how the gift cards have been used include a family who suffered a death in the family and a significant loss of income and a fuel card to lessen the burden of traveling to Columbus for a mother whose young child needs continued medical care.

"We would like to thank Isleta United Methodist Church for its continued support," said Rogers.
