Art exhibit

Janice Hyson, resident of Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehab, is sharing her vibrant and unique colored pencil book art during the month of January at the Newcomerstown Library. Hours are: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

1958 luncheon

The Newcomerstown High Class of 1958 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at April’s Restaurant in Newcomerstown.

Special presentation

Bible Fellowship Church will host a special presentation by The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry's Ty Perry at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12. Perry serves in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he and his wife minister to the Jewish community and teach the church about Israel in God's plan. For more information, visit

Board of Revision meeting

The Tuscarawas County Board of Revision has scheduled a meeting for 1 p.m. Jan. 13, in the auditor’s conference room. This is the required annual organizational meeting. The Board of Revision will also elect a chairperson for 2020 and review any ongoing BTA CASES.
