Funeral services for Lois J. Belt, 64, of West Lafayette, were Dec. 21, 2008, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown. Pastor Jim Lillo officiated the services with burial in the Plainfield Cemetery. She passed away Dec. 18 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Fred and Lillian (Parks) Robertson.

Mrs. Belt worked at JII in Coshocton and had been a waitress at L&K in Coshocton.

She was a member of the West Lafayette Nazarene Church where she was baptized on Oct. 5, 2008.

On June 24, 1961, she married Roger N. Belt, who passed away Feb. 26, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Darren Belt of West Lafayette and Nicholas (Shelley) Belt of Newcomerstown; three daughters, Tammy (Mark) Long of Newcomerstown, Pam (Chuck) Stull of Dover and Darla Davis of Coshocton; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Thelma (Charles) Untied of Frazeysburg and Barbara of Coshocton.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Bryan Belt; two brothers, Gene Wolfe and Edgar Robertson; and one sister, Betty Sigman.
