Funeral services for Tina M. Pollock, 46, of West Lafayette, were June 5, 2009, at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, West Lafayette. Rev. Sue Chidley officiated the services with burial in the Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette. The Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown is entrusted with arrangements. She passed away June 2 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, West Lafayette.

She was born Oct. 30, 1962, in Coshocton, the daughter of the late Larry Gene Patterson and Phyllis (Courtwright) Patterson of Plainfield.

She was a 1981 graduate of Ridgewood High School, graduated in 1985 from Kent State with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice and in 2003 from Muskingum College with a master of teaching degree.

Mrs. Pollock was a second grade teacher at West Lafayette Elementary and was a licensed social worker for 23 years.

She was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church and a member of the Coshocton Foundation Leadership.

On April 26, 1986, she married Greg L. Pollock, who survives.

Other survivors include three sons, John Raymond Pollock, Jarrod Ryan Pollock and Jake Robert Pollock, all of the home; two sisters, Trudy (Fred) Way of Wellsville, Pa., and Tess (Eric) Douglass of Quaker City; maternal grandparents, Donald Courtwright of Dover; father- and mother-in-law, Butch and Sara Pollock of Newcomerstown; and brothers-in-law, Rodney Pollock of Bridgeton, N.C., and Travis (Beth) Pollock of Newcomerstown.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Tiffany Patterson; and grandparents, John and Mary Patterson, and Marjorie Courtwright.
