Funeral services for Rosezetti Conlon, 85, of Newcomerstown, were Dec. 23, 2009, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown. The Rev. Jim Reed, Pastor Wayne Baker and the Rev. Gene Whyde officiated with burial in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown. She passed away Dec. 19 at her daughter's residence. Rosezetti was a loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother.
She was born April 3, 1924, in Russell County, Va., the daughter of the late James Kelly Perkins and Alta (Keene) Perkins.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Newcomerstown Church of the Nazarene.
On July 19, 1957, she married John Joseph Conlon, who passed away Jan. 23, 2008.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Ashby, Robert, Paul, Mason and Linkus Perkins; two sons-in-law, Rick Harper and Gene Lyons; and one grandson, Joseph Shawn Conlon.
Survivors include three sons, James Patrick (Lori) Conlon and Michael (Phyllis) Conlon, all of Newcomerstown, and Burley Wayne (Sue) Dye of Swords Creek, Va.; two daughters, Kathie Conlon (Jim) Carr and Carol Conlon Harper, all of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Carrie (Christopher) Crabtree, Emlie Rose (Jeff) Bradford, John Patrick (Dee-Dee) Conlon, Megan Leigh Conlon, Chasity (Brad) Opphile, Ashley Chrisman, Michael Gadd, Michael Ethan Conlon and Tish Parks; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Ryan, Jordan Nathaniel and Jacob Tyler Crabtree, Chelsea Nicole Conlon and Rylie Jo Chrisman.
