Levi H. Fausnight, 81, of Kimbolton, passed away Friday (April 23, 2010) at his home.

He was born June 11, 1928, in Akron, the son of the late Samuel E. and Lola E. (Hershberger) Fausnight.

He was a 1946 graduate of East High School, Akron.

Mr. Fausnight was a partner in Ohio Beauty Cut Stone in Akron for 27 years. He was also a licensed agent for Birds Run Realty for 29 years.

He was a member of the Birds Run Baptist Church.

On Aug. 20, 1949, he married Noreen (Witt) Fausnight, who passed away Sept. 29, 1967. He married Lorrene (Simons) Fausnight on Sept. 11, 1975; she passed away July 22, 2009.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and David Fausnight.

Survivors include five daughters, Norleen (James) Hoadley of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Denise (Edwin) Gilmore of Stone Creek, Cristie (Rodney) Merce of Kimbolton, Teare (William) Reedy of Seville and Marla (Duane) Mourer of Kimbolton; six step-children, Dave (Nancy) Orr of Kimbolton, Joyce (Randy) Clark of Columbus, Shirley (Jeff) Heller of Kimbolton, John (Cindy) Orr of Kimbolton, Ernest James (Myong) Orr of Cambridge and Susan (David) Mulinix of Kimbolton; one brother, Ivan (Doris) Fausnight of Howard; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were April 27, 2010, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown. The Rev. Pat Peebles officiated the services. Burial was in the Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
