Roger Lee Warden, 79, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Tuesday, July 22, 1930, in Guernsey County, to Ray Warden and Sylvia Baker Warden.
He was a retired tool and die maker for Heller Tool Company, Newcomerstown.
He was a member First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown.
On Saturday, May 17, 1952, he married Mildred Hogue Warden, who survives.
Also surviving are six daughters, Lisa (Dave) Cecil of Hillard, Sandra (Joe) Peters of Byesville, Debora Warden of Zanesville, Janice (Mark) Tabler of Pittsburgh, Pam (Alan) Motta of Felicity and Lori Gregg of Marysville; three sons, Tom (Terry) Warden of West Lafayette, Steve (Misty) Warden of Kimbolton and Chris (Debra) Warden of Plain City; three brothers, Richard Warden of Coshocton, and Willard (Rose) Warden and Gerald Warden (Willy Mae), all of Kimbolton; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brittanie Cecil.
Funeral services were July 6, 2010, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Tom Barber and the Rev. Donald Silverthorne officiating.
Burial will take place in Everal's Cemetery.
