Irvin E. Crank, 73, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday (July 9, 2010) at Schoenbrunn Health Care Center in New Philadelphia.
He was born Thursday, Feb. 11, 1937, in Preble County, Ohio, to the late Howard and Mable (Taylor) Crank.
He retired from Hilltop Energy in Mineral City.
Irvin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Washington, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On Aug. 21, 1956, he married Glenda P. (Carl) Crank, who passed away June 23, 2007.
Surviving are three sons, Mark (Alice) Crank of Newcomerstown, Mike (Debbie) Crank of Newcomerstown and Matt (Emmy) Crank of Port Washington; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Rhonda) Crank of Richmond, Ind., and Bernie (Charlene) Crank of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Patty (Gene) Yadloski of Parachute, Co., and Janet (Steve) Hines of Lexington, Ky.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were July 13, 2010, at the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Andy McClun officiating.
