PORT WASHINGTON -- Connie Mae Kees, 73, of Port Washington, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011.
She was born May 24, 1937, in Tuscarawas County, to the late Virgil Hogue and the late Vada (Hewitt) Hogue.
She was a 1955 Newcomerstown High School graduate.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Port Washington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin Dell Kees, whom she married March 3, 1956.
She is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Brent) Gibson of La Grande, Ore.; a son, Tim (Karole) Kees of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Benjamin Gibson of Portland, Ore., and Tiffani Swaldo of Tuscarawas; and a great-grandchild, Rylan Swaldo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hogue.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Bunker Hill Road, Port Washington.
