Carolyn E. Huffman, 77, of Newcomerstown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at Cleveland Clinic.

She was born March 17, 1936, in Logansport, Ind., to the late Donald and Florence (Schlaug) Camp.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown. She did volunteer work in and out of the church, and also served on several committees in the church. Carolyn was the rock of her family, a faithful friend, and had a servant's heart.

She will be missed by all.

On Sept. 5, 1954, she married D. Bruce Huffman, who died on March 13, 1995. She is survived by her daughters,

Leslie Covell-Hershberger and her husband Joel of Mayville, Wis., Trisha Abbruzzi and her husband Richard of Canton, Laura LaValle and her husband

James of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Jill Quillen of Newcomerstown; her grandchildren, Sarah (Jim) Hamilton, Michael and Melinda Abbruzzi, Katie Covell, Laura (Adam) Strong, Libby and Jill Beth Bricker, Christian LaValle, and Lydia and Ross Quillen; great-grandchild, Taylor Grace Hamilton; two sisters, Rita Sutton and husband Butch of Fulton, Ind., and Patricia Hamilton and husband Marvin of Logansport, Ind.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Larry Camp.

Services were Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with Pastor Tom Barber officiating.

Burial followed in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
