The family of Dana Ray Booth, 52, sadly announce his unexpected passing due to a heart attack on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015.

Dana was born Oct. 18, 1962, the youngest of four children born to Bill and Wilma (Bliss) Booth of Guernsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Donald.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sandy Booth and Mike LeVan; niece, Nichole Booth; sister-in-law, Judy Booth; aunt, Betty

(Virgil) Bliss; uncle, Bill (Jane Booth) Reasoner; great-aunt, Dorotha German; and many cousins from the Bliss and Booth families.

Dana attended Wheeling Elementary in Guernsey and Newcomerstown schools.

He enjoyed all things Bigfoot, trains, the History Channel and his four cats. He was a good brother and a good son whose care for our mom in her later years made it possible for her to remain in the family home she loved. God bless, dear brother, we will miss you always.

A graveside service took place Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, in the West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown with the Rev. Jim Reed officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Liberty Community Volunteer Fire Department, 217 Holbrook St., Kimbolton, OH 43749.
