Marguerita L. "Marge" McKibben, 93, of Newcomerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at her residence.
She was born Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1922, in Peidmont, to the late Bert and Nellie (Strahl) Stewart.
She had previously worked at Stoffer's Restaurant, Hill's Shoe Store and Lawler's Pharmacy.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown, and a previous member of the Swinging Square Dance Club. She enjoyed traveling after her retirement and gardening and working with her flowers.
On Wednesday, July 7, 1943, she married William E. McKibben, who survives.
She is also survived by three children, Michael J. (Joann) McKibben of Newcomerstown, William B. (Cindy) McKibben of Madison and Julie L. McKibben of Newcomerstown; special granddaughter, Sara (Nate) Stein of Newcomerstown, one brother, Floyd (Jean) Stewart of Flushing; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Edwin (Doris) Stewart.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, in the Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown, with the Rev. Bracken G. Foster officiating.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery.
