Natalie E. (Bean) McFarland, 93, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Newcomerstown and Dover, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community. She was born March 12, 1923, in Columbus to the late John Russell and Marjorie (Kaden) Bean. She was a 1941 Newcomerstown High School graduate. She earned her B.A. degree at Dennison University. She was a co-owner of Baltimore Clothing of Newcomerstown. She retired from teaching at Newcomerstown Schools. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Oriental Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and was also a past Matron. She was involved in the development of the Tuscarawas County MRDD and served on the board throughout her entire life. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and sewing and knitting for her family. She was talented at playing the organ and piano.

She was previously married to Charles Dale Johnson, Lester Z. Gadd, and Wayne "Packy" McFarland. She is survived by her three daughters, Cherie (Bob) Norman of Chelan, WA, Elaine Johnson of Reynoldsburg, and Julie (Dan) Overmeyer of Canal Winchester; four grandchildren, Chris Gadd, Josh (Vicki) Gadd, Amy (Mike) Haskins, and Andy (Jessie) Norman; five great-grandchildren, Leo and Carol Gadd, Christiney Gadd, Josiah Haskins, and Liam Norman; her brother, William (Margie) Bean; her sister, Marilyn Haver; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, February 4,

Services were Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Rev. Donald Silverthorne officiated. Burial took place at West Lawn Cemetery.
