Committee gives thanks for successful event
On behalf of the Kimbolton Homecoming Committee, I would like to say thanks to everyone who helped make the benefit for the Wheeler family a great success. Even though we are facing some tough economic times and extra expenses as the holiday season approaches, the community came together to help support this worthy cause.
I would like to extend a special thanks to the following businesses and organizations for their generous donations: Kimbolton United Methodist Church, Liberty Community Fire Department, North Salem Church, Salt Fork Outdoors, Short Cut Store, Jackie's Family Restaurant, Gary's BP, Hoop Design, Wal-Mart, Detroit Diesel, Guernsey County Commissioners, Hostetler's Barber Shop, Orme Hardware, and TruValue Hardware. Also, thanks to Dave Ritterbeck, auctioneer, who donated his time for the sale and to the musicians, Mabel Pollock, Rod Bradford and Friends, The Foraker Band, Jesse, Elaine and Rance Rose, and Charlie Weaver.
Area friends and neighbors who helped out are too numerous to mention but you are definitely appreciated. You know who you are and may God bless each and every one of you. The spirit of caring and sharing was truly alive in Kimbolton Sunday.
