How can we keep sin out of our lives? First, we have to get rid of our past sins.

There is only one remedy for sin, the blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior! Without the blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness, Hebrews 9:22. In Him we have redemption through His blood, Ephesians 1:7.

How do we contact the blood? In Romans 6, Paul says, "Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life," verse 6, says our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed!

We come up out of a watery grave a new creature, born again! If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7. This is a daily walk to keep sin out of our lives every day! Verse 8 says if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves.

We are in Christ, in His body, the church, Ephesians chapter 4. Christ is the head of the church, the Savior of the body, chapter 5:22. Pray daily for help to keep you faithful unto death, Revelations 2:10.

We just had our Memorial Day to honor our dead who fought to give us our freedom in America. We who have been baptized into Christ have a living memorial, as our Savior died, was buried, and God, the Father raised Him up and Jesus is alive, the tomb is empty! Thus we meet to celebrate "The Lord's Supper," a living memorial, every first day of the week, Acts 20:7. What was Adam's sin? His wife was deceived but Adam was not, Genesis 3:17, he listened to his wife instead of God. Adam was created first, Eve was created to be a helpmate, not to lead Adam into sin, which she did.

What should we use to draw men unto Christ? Fun? Food? Entertainment?

Next time!
